During the winter months I have been working with CSBT as Project Supervisor on their new £1.4m Green Build Hub construction project. This has been a contractual role through the use of the New Engineering Contract (NEC) 3 which is being increasingly used on building projects. This role is suited to my skill set as a qualified Carpenter as it required an overall understanding of building methodology and detailing, clear communication skills and a problem solving approach. We are currently on the last month of the build and its getting busy!

Early on in the timber frame build process I took 4 students for a day teaching them on-site skills and timber frame techniques.
